Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) - Nursing Administration
Responsible for planning, organization and administration of nursing services to include staffing, training and development, communications and documentation to maintain quality patient care standards and advise medical staff, department heads, and the administrator in matters related to Nursing. The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) will coordinate, plan and manage the nursing services to maintain the highest quality of care possible. The CNO is responsible for ensuring that the patient care is consistent with regulatory standard as well with internal expectations. The CNO will participate in the analysis, planning and strategic goals and the implementation clinical programs. Supervises Chemotherapy and IV Infusion Unit, Emergency Services, Surgery, Acute Care, Pharmacy, Dietary, Nutrition & Diabetes. Serves on the Administrative Coordinating Council. Must have a minimum of a BNS; MSN preferred. Five or more years recent clinical work experience as a Registered Nurse in a variety of disciplines and three or more years in a supervisory capacity.
