Cabinet Peaks Medical Center Begins “Building for the Future” with New State-of-the-Art Rehab Services Facility

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center (CPMC) is excited to announce the start of construction on a new state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Services building, marking another major step in the hospital’s commitment to building for the future of healthcare in Lincoln County. The new facility is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2026.

The new Rehab Services building will bring together Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Pediatric Therapy under one roof, offering patients greater convenience, comfort, and access to the high-quality care they deserve. Designed with both patients and providers in mind, the modern space will feature expanded treatment areas, private therapy rooms, and advanced rehabilitation equipment to better support healing, recovery, and long-term wellness.

“Rehabilitation plays a vital role in helping patients regain independence and quality of life,” said Neil Verberne, CPMC Rehab Services Manager. “This new building reflects our ongoing commitment to deliver exceptional care close to home, with the facilities and technology our patients need to succeed.”

“Cabinet Peaks is investing in the future of local healthcare,” mention Tadd Greenfield, CPMC CEO. “Projects like this help ensure that our patients have access to high-quality, specialized care without having to travel outside our community.”

The new Rehab Services building is part of CPMC’s long-term vision to enhance local healthcare access, strengthen specialized services, and continue improving the patient experience for generations to come.

During construction, patients will be temporarily seen at 313 Montana Avenue in Libby, ensuring uninterrupted therapy services throughout the transition.
